AMERICANA 2025 in Friedrichshafen begins for participants on 31 August 2025 and ends on 7 September. With around EUR 200,000-added prize money, the event is once again one of the most highly endowed shows in Germany. The NRHA Bronze Trophy Open alone is endowed with EUR 40,000-added; the Cutting Open is worth EUR 20,000-added. The EUR 10,000-added ERCHA Cow Horse Derby will be held at AMERICANA for the first time in 2025. Another focus will be on the hugely popular Ranch Horse classes - with prize money of EUR 10,000 up for grabs in the Open. The finals of the big reining, cutting and cow horse classes will be held as part of the evening shows on Friday and Saturday. Brand new: the Super Ranch Horse, which takes place on Friday evening. The best six Open riders and the best four Non Pro riders in the Ranch Rail, Ranch Trail and Ranch Riding classes (Open and Non Pro) qualify for this.
Proof of valid and effective herpes vaccination is required for participation. Horses that have not been vaccinated against herpes require a herpes test (EHV 1) in the form of a PCR test/nasal swab in order to participate in the AMERICANA. A valid Coggins test must also be presented. All details can be found in the announcement.
