AMERICANA Bronze Trophy Intermediate Open Champion: Markus Gebert & Cash N No Chex

The NRHA Intermediate Open Trophy was claimed by Austrian Markus Gebert and Cash N No Chex (Lil Joe Cash x Spark N Pretty) who scored a 219 and are also in 9th place in the Open Go round.
Markus Gebert, for whom this is the second AMERICANA, has only had the 7-year-old mare in training for six weeks. Cash N No Chex, who is a daughter of one of Europe's most successful reining broodmares, was trained by Markus Morawitz, who was an Austrian Futurity finalist with her.

"Except for a schooling show four weeks ago, this was the first show with this mare," said Markus Gebert, who was IRHA Futurity Champion in 2013 and Austrian Futurity Co-Champion L4 and European Derby Champion L3 in 2016, among others . "I am very happy with her. She is a thoroughly honest horse who is no different in the show arena than she is in training. She is just there and gives her best."

Reserve Champion was France's Clémence Neveux with Thomas Soutric'

Frankiegoestoholywod (Hollywoodtinseltoen x CS Miselenium), who scored a 215.5. With this now 10-year-old gelding, Neveux was the 2019 NRHA European Derby Champion L1. Following close behind in third place (215) was Tiara van Dongen with the 12-year-old stallion Mr Gun WR San Jo (San Jo Freckles x Smokes Covergirl) owned by Marleen Suttels. A total of 28 horses were entered in this competition.
