AMERICANA 2021: Denis Pini und Zen And Tonic dominieren Bonda Ranch European Championship NCHA Open Go round Gianluca Munarini mit zwei Pferden im Finale

36 horses competed in the Bonda Ranch European Championship NCHA Open Go round. The top 10 will meet again in the finals on Saturday. In this very strong field, Denis Pini took the lead with 7-year-old Zen And Tonic (High Brow CD x Dual Citizen) scoring a 148.5. The mare, bred by Greg Coalson in Texas and owned by Imre Katona, has already won over $100,000 in the cutting arena. Among other honors, she was NCHA Limited Non Pro Futurity co-champion and Derby Non Pro champion at the Abilene Spectacular. Pini, who has won the European Championship Open at AMERICANA twice, rode this mare to Reserve Champion Open at the NCHA of Italy Derby this year.

Pietro Valeri followed in second place, scoring a 147 with Cat Rey Lou (High Brow Cat x Fabra Rey) for Marco Salvatori. The 11-year-old mare already has nearly $122,000 in NCHA LTE and was a multiple NCHA Open All Ages European Champion and NCHA European Cup $50,000 Open and Amateur Champion at the Equita Lyon.

Third place went to Martina Annovazzi with Miss Blue Boons Ruby (145). Fourth place was shared by Gianluca Munarini on Just Gettin Started, Sheri Mason with Snappy Hunter and Gaia Salvatori on Metallic Savanah (all with a 144.5). 7th place went to Federico Fanti on Highbrowcd is Playin (144), 8th place to Karel Spacil with Nothing Elz Matters and Gianluca Munarini with Bet Hesa Five (both 142), followed by Marco Salvatori on Highbrow Time (141.5)
